Manifesto

Aleksei Gusakov
Chief Technology Officer, Search and Advertising Technologies Business Group, Yandex
ICPC Gold Medalist 2010
Yandex is one of the world’s leading IT companies, and the success of our projects largely depends on talented developers and their ability to apply unconventional approaches to solving complex problems.

We have been organizing and supporting competitive programming contests since 2007, and we are an official partner of the ICPC Northern Eurasia region. At various times, over 200 ICPC finalists and 320 semifinalists have worked at Yandex. Supporting events aimed at developing young talent is an investment in the future. That’s why we constantly develop new formats and experiment to find effective ways to nurture interest in competitive programming and computer science.

We wish you the best of luck in the competition and would be happy to see you among our colleagues so that together we can create and implement new technologies that will improve the quality of life for many people.
